On the computer that a remote connection is to be made to, usually your office computer.

1. Right Click "My Computer"
   
   
2. Click "Properties"
   
   
3. Click on the "Remote" Tab
   
   
4. Check the box under "Remote Desktop" that, Allows users to connect remotely to this computer
   
   
   
5. Click on "Start", "All Programs", "Accessories", "Communications" Click on "Remote Desktop Connection"
   
   
6. You will need to enter the host name of the computer that you want to connect to.
   This will normally be your office computer.
   
   
7. How to determine your computer host name?
   
   
8. Right Click "My Computer"
   
   
9. Click "Properties"
   
   
10. Click on the "Computer Name" Tab
    
    
    
11. The host name will be listed in the full computer name section.
